The Prudential Life Global Fixed Income Fund: Now available for direct investing

We are pleased to inform you that we have recently made the Prudential Life Global Fixed Income Fund available for direct institutional investment.

The fund only invests in permitted global fixed income assets and was designed specifically to comply with the requirements outlined in Annexure B of Regulation 30 of the Medical Schemes Act. It has been successfully used as the offshore component of our multi-asset medical scheme portfolios since 2018 and is managed by our offshore investment partner and shareholder, M&G Investments (UK), one of Europe’s leading asset managers.

In addition to providing Medical Schemes with an advantageous opportunity to diversify their portfolios across a range of global debt and fixed-income securities, the fund also offers a cost-effective solution for investors, as the Annual Management Fees in our pooled life funds are exempt from VAT.
