Day 2 kicks off with riders making their way through the lush green forests of the Tsitsikamma, past the wolf sanctuary and into the beautiful vistas of Robbehoek. The grasslands provide the entry point back into the forest through a myriad of stunning trails, before reaching the Regyne Protea Farm. The course then turns inland as riders start the big climb through Van Niekerk’s where Day 2’s King and Queen of the Mountain awaits. With most of the hard work done, there’s no better way to finish off the day than with a downhill run towards the finish line in Assegaibos. Here riders can look forward to a mixture of luxury tents, hotel rooms, and a wonderful swimming pool to cool off after a long day in the saddle.
