Meet the team

Chris joined M&G Investment Managers in 2004 as an Industrial Analyst and was appointed as a Portfolio Manager in 2005. From 2013 to early 2018, he served as M&G’s Head of Equity where he was primarily responsible for overseeing all equity research. He is currently a Senior Equity Portfolio Manager and jointly responsible for managing the M&G’s Equity Fund (which has won several Raging Bull and Morningstar Awards under his management), as well as several institutional mandates within M&G’s Core equity offering. Chris is also responsible for research on the Food, Beverages, Pharmaceutical, Media and Telecommunications sectors.

Prior to asset management, Chris started his career as a Civil Engineer, working both locally and overseas, before completing his MBA in 1999, which prompted the move into financial services. He currently has 25 years of industry experience.
